General notes	NPC 211 cites the similar name Arugus < Aru-co- under the lemma aru- (?). Perhaps the in Arogus is a (mis-)spelling for etymological -u- or simply a replacement of the u-vowel in the "Kompositionsfuge" by the more frequent o-vowel, cf. Lito-geno- from Litu-° (KGP 91). A different morphological segmentation *are- + (r)ogo- ? '?' is thinkable, too, but not more likely than the first one.
