General notesCeltic or Germanic; Trimembric (?) compound *Dago- + *lando- + *runo- or alternatively: dago- + landro- + uno-Suffix (cf. Couruna if from *cobro- + -una-),other possible morphological segmentation: D( )-gland-runa, or D( )-glan(o)-druno-, cf. Glandronus (NPC 81, 105). If we assume Gmc. origin, the first member is *dag- 'day' instead of Celtic *Dago- 'good', while the other compound members mean the same in Gmc. as in Celtic.
